I’m taking a sick day, well actually I left work at 10:30, because my wife had a tooth pulled. Since they put her under, she couldn’t be left home alone, so here I sit.
As her grandmother used to say, it’s a gor-jesus day. Mid seventies, sun shining and my doped up wife is sound asleep in the other room.
Maybe if I would have doubled her pain pills I could have gotten in a quick nine holes of golf.
I’ll never know.
