Eight Things I Know About Technology - meme

Posted by: goinglikesixty   in Blogging, Technology

The Savvy Boomer tagged me with this meme. I won’t be passing it along because the people I sent it to didn’t want it, but did it because they are nice to me. Sorry Boomer.

  1. Bill Gates is a prick.
  2. It’s all ones and zeros
  3. I know how to buy a domain name
  4. I know how to reset digital clocks
  5. I know where my record albums are
  6. Did mention Bill Gates is a Prick?
  7. I have one share of Apple stock hanging on my wall.
  8. I don’t know much about technology

I now need a self-esteem boost. I will now eat a dish of ice cream with chocolate syrup and M&M’s on top. That will not boost my self-esteem, only you can do that by clicking the Technorati button in the right hand column at the bottom of my blog roll. I think that is good if a bunch of you click it. Bill Gates is a Prick.

Update: We didn’t have an Vanilla Bean ice cream, so it was Moose Tracks. I skipped the M&M’s because I do have some restraint.

Update 2: I just found out the meme is Eight Things I Know. Savvy Boomer added the (about technology part for his post.) So I may do this after all. Beware blogrollers.

“Sorry Boomer”

Hey, no problem, I didn’t even do the one you sent me ‘cuz I didn’t realy know what was going on. BTW. I like Bill Gates but that’s only because he distributed his software through my company in Canada before he was big enough to have a company here. It was the kick start we needed in the business and as they say-the rest is history. Besides, I still get a yearly Xmas card from him.

Did the ice cream help? It usually does.

Thank you for your concern. Yes, I am better this morning.
Have you ever taken your hand and just grabbed a handful of ice cream from the container?

One thing I know about technology: If you are going to purchase a Dell, you must first learn to speak Indian.

(Hope I didn’t offend anyone. I’m just speaking the truth.)

I hate Bill Gates. He is evil. He and Osama Bin Laden play golf together, that is how evil he is.

I run an Apple, and try to avoid Microsoft at all costs. (Which is like trying to avoid breathing air.)

Bill “Osama” Gates. I’m mac at work, PC at home because it used to be that to do anything on the web it was PC only.
Now with OS X it’s much better. But knitter has all her patterns in PC format, so we’re stuck.

@redneck: Yes, but it’s not just Dell. At least they are returning to use their real names. After I talk with them I like to imitate them for a while around the house. Sad.

Redneck Diva: You are a feather indian, right? as opposed to a dot indian?
Way past offending… that’s just ignorant, but I think it’s funny.

I did my part and added your to my technorati favorites. If it’s even a bigger boost, you are the only one in my technorati favorites. Gee, aren’t you special?

Yes, I’m a card-carrying, feather-wearing, free-government-cheese eating Indian. The only time I have strange dots on my face is when we’ve been out muddin’ on the four-wheelers.

[...] Gates is a prick,” has been the rallying cry for an unknown and weak minded blogger, “this only confirms that he can play the dummy when needed.  I’m not sure it’s [...]
