The challenge today at First 50 words is to write about “biddy.”
I was tickled to know that the inspiration came from an earlier post of mine.
Here’s my comment:
Looking around the house, all I see is fur,
One is quite brazen, the other most demure.
If there’s trouble to be had, they will cause it to occur.
Two more will be involved, because they all confer.
We know when things get started, it won’t be with a purr
When dogs express themselves, it starts with a grrrr.
If given a choice they would run around the city,
looking for a squirrel to tree, or chase an old biddy.
With my encouragement they would terrorize a kitty,
that’s the ugly underbelly, that’s the nitty-gritty.
Can anyone do this writing thing? Because I am oh so intrigued!
