Not really. I wouldn’t wish anyone dead. Some of these are bogus: “reportedly” or “denied” is used a lot in the explanations at Mental_floss.

Too bad they all didn’t succeed. There’s a whole lot of other people who have dealt with worse events in their lives and managed to deal with it. Suicide is the coward’s way out of dealing with life.

I have been pretty low in my life – granted, not as low as some, but still low. Not once did taking my life cross my mind. Now, going to bed and staying there for 40 or so years did, but never actually taking my life.
