Live In House Many Moons Chemo Sobby.

Heh.

We had just enough rain this morning, I believes and percieves our eaves are full of leaves. (gawd!)

But I bought a robot to clean them! We’ve lived in this house I think four falls (many moons, Chemo Sobby.)

Year 1: I didn’t do anything.

Year 2: I got up on the roof and tried to clean them out. I put it off so it was colder than a well witches ass in an Idaho bra.

Year 3: I was given one of those hose extender water blaster shepard’s hooks. Blasted rotted leaves all over me. Again, it was cold. (Leaves don’t fall when it’s warm.)

Year 4: (Present Day) I was suckered by the money-back guarantee for the iRobot Looj ™ This still throws all the leaves all over the place, but it looks like fun!

If it makes cleaning leaves fun, I’m golden. I’ll rent that baby for $20 an hour. If it doesn’t work, I’ll either return it, or give it to SIL, he loves gadgets. I don’t even know if he has eaves or leaves, but he’ll love it. He’s weird that way.

I will then clear cut our estate.

UPDATE: My Looj 130 Gutter Cleaning Robot has been shipped.

Oh man, I wouldnt care if it worked or not .. as long as it was fun to play with. Perhaps if it don’t work, you can figger out something else to use it for.

Holy smokes … it IS that time a year in some places already, isn’t it? Our leaves are just starting to turn here in the Southern Utah desert. We have five huges trees in our yard that produce six billion leaves each. But that’s not the worst of what we have to bag. The worst of it is that when the wind creates a funnel for all the leaves from up the street straight into our yard so they can nestle up against our house and fence … like huge snow drifts only they don’t melt and eventually disappear. It’s not cool that our leaves don’t clean themselves up like they do in the rest of the neighborhood. The grandkids love it though.

Jumping in leaves - fun. I miss being able to burn leaves. As we got older, we would set piles on fire and ride our bikes thru them.
