How to Make Your Computer into a Power Strip

Getting back to basics.

Computers were originally designed for offices to increase productivity. Their role continually expanded as engineers found new and better ways to harness the power made possible by years of extensive research and development.

Taking the computer into the next dimension of usefulness was the Universal Serial Bus (USB.)

Quickly small developers jumped on the USB bandwagon and now you can power all manner of useful items from your USB:

I am NOT powering my computer on my puter. I don’t want the neons draining my power supply.

Yeah but how about a beer cooler? Or little vacuum to clean up crumbs when you delete you cookies?

Wow that really should have said I wasn’t going to power my AQUARIUM on my puter. Gawd it’s awful when your mind and fingers go.

hehehe. I knew there was something amiss! But powering your computer via the computer isn’t a good idea either.
