I knew it, I just knew it! I am going to be a star.
I made a new friend today: Carrie at Beyond Pix Studios, a California production house.
She’s probably twenty-something, but she thinks I’m “edgy.” Heh. Flattery will get you free content anyday Carrie.
I’d love to use a few of your articles on our site as we re-vamp our blog collection, give it a little more edge.
She is Executive Producer for Turning Point TV.
Turning Point TV is the first Internet television network for the boomer generation. The network features original programming on Money, Health & Fitness, Travel and Lifestyle.
She and her staff of star-makers are revamping their site and want me to audition. I will be unpacking my video equipment this weekend.
I’ll work with a Nigerian scammer to write the script. If they will hand copy a Harry Potter book, a script should be nada.
You know whut? We could take over this network! When is the last act of rebellion you accomplished? All we have to do is swamp them with content.
Oh yeah, we don’t look the same as in 1968. Do they have Photoshop for video?
If you have ideas for 2 minute videos, let me have ‘em. Or do ‘em yourself and submit.
That could just make Carrie’s day.
Update: I may have to reconsider. Carrie doesn’t look like she has reach the age of majority yet. I’ll have to get somebody else to sign my contract.

Sounds like Turning Point TV may have a limited life span. That’s what happens when the boomers continue aging, and shows will start having names like “Geriatrics Today” and “Six Feet Under: the real scoop on plots.”
I think “edginess” gives people a certain longevity and predict both you and I will outlive Turning Point.
“May the force be with you.” (coined long before Carrie was born, I’m sure.)
@nessa: cream always rises to the top.
P.S. I never asked for fame and fortune. Just give me the dang fortune.
P.P.S. No one ever puts me out front anyway. I’ve always been in the back office due to the unpredictability of my brilliant commentary.
@Carrie: LOL, I see you can give as well as take. We will make a great team.
Carrie, sorry about that. I’m sure you’re a “young” 72.
