Roy and Gretchen Jackson, the owners of 2006 Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro, have chosen to bury the racehorse at Churchill Downs.


The market for three legged horse racing just isn’t what it used to be and Elmer’s has seen a fall off in demand for glue.

  1. I don’t know Shinola from horse racing except for mint juleps, which are as integral a part of the experience as, well, horses.

    When I was a kid our family used to drive past the glue factory or “gluey” on the outskirts of industrial Philadelphia. It stank to high heaven. Do they still use horses for glue?
