As Gretchen so aptly summarized Paris’s feet… the same applies to this blog when viewed in Internet Explorer. I have viewed the site using Firefox, Opera, Safari, and Flock. And it displays just fine.
So I need a whole ‘nother CSS file just for IE? ARGH. Guess whut? That won’t happen until the next rainy weekend. Or until Kirk stops taking his looney pills, and can do it.
So IE readers: if you don’t change to another browser, you deserve the crap browser Bill Gates put on your computer without asking.
So there.
This is what I see:

You’re in luck. Firefox 3 fixes the memory problem. Yes…it does…I can attest to it despite the loony pills. I’ve been testing the nightly builds for the past 3 months now and the leaks are fixed (that doesn’t count for poorly written plugins of course).
Also, I believe I’ve said this before somewhere or another, your site here renders properly, including the colors, when viewed in Internet Explorer 8.0 beta 1 in it’s default configuration (adheres to web standards it does) so don’t waste your time doing up separate CSS code just for folks still using IE 6.0/7.0. Those browsers will never go away if site authors keep catering to them.
Just stick up a sign that says “Best viewed using a real browser and that don’t mean IE 6.0 and/or 7.0! Just deal with it.” or something to that effect. Make it up, you’re good at that.

Feel free to use all the language you want. You can even quote me if you wish. And hey, if your crap is popular…it ain’t crap so to speak. You know who you are.

@Kirk: I just had a great idea: I will use your language in the right column about the design.

Nope, FF3/Safari still don’t display like IE
