Today I have started updating the NASCAR room and making it the Indy Racing League Cigar Bar.
I have moved my allegiance from NASCAR to IRL because Danica Patrick is a cutie and she can drive. I hated it when Tony George got greedy and screwed everything up and started another open wheel racing circuit. the Indy Racing League.
The Indy 500 was the premier race in America when I grew up. Everyplace you went on race day, somebody had a radio with the race. Great names: Mario Andretti, A.J. Foyt, Parnelli Jones, Al Unser, Bobby Unser. Drivers that knew how to turn a wrench.
Finally realizing that NASCAR is now the top race series in the U.S., they joined back up.
It’s about time.
NASCAR is great and I’ll still watch, when the IRL isn’t running.
