My favorite part of Ed Sullivan.

Had a car with spinners once.

No Sit and Spin (poor little Tommy will be scarred for life.)

Yep, she has turned into Mrs. Olsen from Little House on the Prairie. It’s not ours yet, she just brought it home for “practice.” She has a special gear that gives her biofeedback on when to push with the opposite foot.

She has a spinning wheel with training wheels.

This is the awesome MACH ONE spinning wheel. Mach One! I’ll be hooking up a generator soon and we’ll be selling electricity at substantially discounted rates. I’ll have to so we can buy yarn, or feed the goats, or sheep, or muskox, or cashmere.

AHEM! I have not made up my mind yet! And I would never fit in with the little house on the prairie gang. I want indoor plumbing, someone else to fix my meals, someone else to clean up, do the ironing, (I actually don’t mind doing the laundry).

Wow, I remember spinning! That was the big deal in Newport Beach about 10 years ago. Me, I still go on an elliptical trainer (when I go, which is like never) at the Y. Also so last year. I’ve always been a retro workout type of girl; before that, it was the Stairmaster for 10 years.

I say anything that gets your ass in gear is a good thing. Period. So you go, Nancy. I like you more every time I read you.

It gets easier with practice. It also gets easier to find all kinds of fiber to buy and add to stashes all over the place. I find it a great relaxation device, there’s a point where you just do it and don’t have to concentrate and you end up with a bobbin full of yarn at the end

Your Nancy sounds way cool! Spinning is amazing but be prepared; the house will now be filled with spinning paraphanalia, fleeces, niddy-noddies, carding tools, oh, the list is endless!!
