Things I Found Slightly Amusing

Bob Moos for the Morning News - he doesn’t make a noise like a cow, that’s his name.

1895 words about Steampunk - 1895, Victorian, get it?

P is for Pig Piss, that’s good enough for me - using oinker urine as a cigarette flavor enhancer.

F*uck Buttons - not a great name for a band if you want radio play. Sample is really eery. Very Enya like, really! Who the hell is Elvis Costello married to?
UPDATE: took out the player because it was slowing down load times. If you want to hear them, click the link above.

Chloe Sevigney - pronounced Cloe-ee (knew that) seven-ee, not seh-vig-knee. Hee. MeMe rhymes with theme. So what’s up with MiMi? And shouldn’t mommy be spelled Mame? Don’t get me started rhyming.

Somebody is turning down our money. - We offered. They refused.

Vagina - It’s not a clown car. - OK, this was more than slightly amusing. I LOLd because of the picture.

Well, you know, EC is like Groucho Marx that way. Keeps marrying 24-year-olds despite his own advancing age. We figure Jenny Lewis is next; EC is Ben’s age and Jenny has just turned 30. (She is the lead singer of Rilo Kiley, by way of reference.)

@Gretchen: OOOHHH yeah, Kilo Riley, of course! How could I not know that! (I need a longer commute so I actually listen to music) :)

Booger. Actually, I have a Rilo Kiley T-shirt and I have stopped wearing it because the twentysomethings think I’m a narc and the boomers don’t know what the fuck I’m talking about.

Trivia: Jenny Lewis is a former child actress, featured in the movies “Troop Beverly Hills” (as Shelley Long’s daughter) and “The Wizard” (as Fred Savage’s love interest).
