Baby Boomer guy writing about stuff of interest primarily to boomers, or people who know one. No politics, few rants, attempted humor. Suitably old, mysteriously advanced.

@Krista: welcome to the club. It's probably been there for ages and nobody noticed - OR (conspiracy theory) they like the fact that we waste so much. :)

@Gretchen: We call it tinfoil too... I have not personally verified the assertion that the tab exists. And I have not checked Snopes.com yet.
This may be an Urban Legend.

Ben and I have a roll of tinfoil (as we call it) that we bought when we were dating. We've been married eight years.

I always have a tough time with Saran wrap. It totally ends up sticking to itself and everything except the dish I'm trying to cover. We are big fans of Tupperware and Ziploc because they are idiot friendly.

I never knew about the little tab either. Perhaps it was introduced in the eight years since we bought the tinfoil (I think I've had the Saran wrap for about six years).

Gretchen's last blog post..Mad At China.
