Great writers are part of the process, too. Editors often are called in, sometimes called script doctors. I've written two screenplays and 10 shorts. It was fun, but I wasn't able to find anyone who would produce them. I write a boomer consumer blog called The Survive and Thrive Boomer Guide at http://boomersurvive-thriveguide.typepad.com.
