I’m pretty satisified with the gifts I have for her. No big surprises, but she’ll like them. (She is very good at dropping very pointed hints.)
But if I was still in the shopping mood, I’d be tempted to buy her this poster.

I love that poster, that old ’50s style housewifey stuff. I remember when I was a little kid I imagined what I would be like as a grownup, and I always pictured myself standing in the kitchen washing dishes. Uh, not so much.
