We have four dogs. Three mutts, and a pure bred Shih-Tzu. Guess which one howls like a hound dog. Yep, the Shih-Tzu! Video links to a minute of howling pleasure that will drive any dog to distraction.

Our dogs are Sedona, 60 lb. lab-border collie rescue, Oliver, 22 lb. Shih-Tzu AKC but still a rescue, Derby 25 lb. Cairn-Yorkie rescue, and Sofi, a 3 1/2 lb. Maltese-Yorkie.

UPDATE: (year later) Sofi now weighs 5 lbs and chimes right in with the other two — that’s really funny, but I can’t get video – yet.

We need something to keep us entertained, and they do. Not a day goes by without them giving us a laugh.

Petfinder.com is a great place to “shop.” Even the local humane society posts pictures there.

Our vet has a website where we can check the dog’s records. I love the web, it makes life a lot more fun and easier.
