Finally VoIP FREE
It was a struggle, but we finally are free of packet8.net 8×8 and went back to ABC, ATT/Bellsouth/Cingular on landline. Our cordless phones work better and the computer doesn’t crash as often and download speed is better.
Something to think about if you are considering VoIP.
Glad to hear someone else agrees about packet 8. Personally I believe VoIP is the future and that is why all your major companies are moving toward offering it in their bundled programs. There are alternatives to Skype, Packet8 and even the one everyone is familiar with Vonage. My experiences on all of them was not good enough to keep me as a customer or a user. There are companies out there that are outstanding and do not have the issues you have noted. VoIP is big and will only get bigger in my opinion.
Scott’s last blog post..Cut Your Expenses
Forgot to mention you have a really good looking page. Sharp and quite impressive. Did you do yourself of have someone do it for you. I like it if you cannot tell.
@Scott: Check out Magic Jack. Cool little gadget that cost $40. Period. and uses internet connection. Considerable discussion on a blog post I did about it.
@Scott: Thank you very much. It was a cooperative effort. I conjured it up and http://caffeinatedelf.com/ did the CSS.
It looks best in IE (!) I was hoping FF3 would make it look the same as IE but no luck.
