BarCampNashville First Impression
Not good. Very few electrical outlets (could say none when you’re talking about five outlets for 400 people) and wireless is spotty.
Guys that organized this said they want to put Nashville on the map for new technology.
This place should be blasting so much wireless you could access it all over town.
I’m afraid to move because I don’t want to loose the connection. Guy right beside me can’t access wireless network.
Come on Xers! First priority should have been to electricity, second should be wireless. We don’t need a cool place like Exit/In to meet. This is supposed to be a non conference conference and you could hear a pin drop. Currently there is one ONE conversation going on that is not about the speaker.
It’s gotta get better, it can’t get much worse.
This is interactivity at it’s lowest.
Boomer’s Rule, so far! I think I’m the only one blogging and seem to be the only one on the chat!
UPDATE 1:20
No free beer! That sucks. Mitch Joel says broadband is everywhere. But only if you consider DSL broadband. I don’t call DSL broadband.
Where’s my beer can?
