NYTimes.com Design Director Needs to Read Creative Commons License
Original Post: Here’s What That Look on Your Dog’s Face Means
Removed at the request of Mr. Big Shot NYTimes.com Design Director who obviously spent countless hours and sleepless nights designing the original graphic. I changed two things: I removed the text at the top because it wasn’t legible when I reduced the graphic (but linked to the original) and changed the bottom right hand box from “Run to Khoi” (which is meaningless on my site) to “Barf on Bed” because I thought my change was funnier.
Looks like this was taken directly from my site but you’ve removed my credit and edited it without my permission. I wouldn’t have had any problem with you re-running it, but I’d prefer it if you removed this altered version. Thanks.
He obviously doesn’t practice what he preaches about the Creative Commons License which says he gives me the right to “remix” ie: alter the work.
Ohhh, I see. I always wondered.
I probably would have added a step for “lick myself inappropriately”
OTOH, that wouldn’t be under “can I eat it” would it.
Thanks, I appreciate the change! All the best in the future.
Khoi
Now that’s how diffuse a snarky comment.
