Brand New Search Engine for Video
If you’re like me, you often will recall an actor from a television program and not the name of the program. Or vice-versa. Or was it on DVD?
locatetv.com has rolled out in public beta and I’ve been poking around. I picked the obvious to search on – stars that have shows on the air now. I’m watching football, so I put in Peyton Manning: hit. Went obscure and put in Bea Arthru (typo -meant Arthur) hit. Harvey Korman: hit. They have a blog too.
The idea behind LocateTV is simple – to let you find TV shows available where you live in the world, be they on broadcast TV, online or on recorded media (DVD, HD-DVD etc).
In addition we provide tools to assist you where you contribute on the web, so that your readers can find where they can watch the TV content that you are talking about or recommend.
Now that ping-back is a keeper!
Hey, thanks for the comment. We do seem to be making a bit of a name for ourselves – today the Internet, tomorrow the..um..something bigger than the Internet…
Even though I will gladly let the new-found fame go straight to my head, I do reminisce fondly about the good old days and the friendly banter with the common people (i.e. you), even if such times are far behind me… 😉
Best wishes!
