Despite the Adversity Facing Me, I Kept My Nose to the Grindstone and Ear to the Ground
Back in the day, just before Black Friday, but post 9/11, I authored an emotional post about “Blogging is the New Waterboarding.” It was sweet. It was random, lacked organic pop, and didn’t overtake the blogsphere like the perfect storm.
The wordsmiths at the webinar threw me under the bus, but they only decimated me,
It is what it is.
I got a little behind in my reading but I’m caught up now. I meant to tell you sooner that I like the new look.
@Edna: thanks, I’m getting mixed reviews. But I like it, so I’ll keep it for a while.
Emotional man…..truly emotional.
@Redneck Diva: I was moved by Pointless Drivel’s post yesterday:
“Somebody shot the president, no wait, somebody get me a tampon.”
sweet!
I nearly fell out of bed laughing last night when a gal they were interviewing on the news said, “Well, honestly, the reason is because Monday we had the perfect storm.” And if that wasn’t enough, the next news blurbwas about going organic. Paul couldn’t figure out why I was laughing so hard.
@Redneck Diva: It is what it is.
Entertaining post. I love his line: “If I don’t leave a trail of blood whenever I finish a job, I consider myself a failure.”
