Why Is Everbody Always Quittin’ On Me? — 18 Comments

  1. How very clever to get all those links in there :-). I run out of things to say and I always feel like I have to post something good. Instead of the ordinary stuff that happens every day like, “damn you wouldn’t believe what I just saw at the grocery store”.

Elaine’s last blog post..Leave the nipple rings at home

  2. @Elaine: Since your purpose is to discuss health issues, how about writing about “you won’t believe what I saw at the hosptial/office today?”

  3. Sorry I haven’t checked in in a few days. Been busy bloggin’ (and lying about it).

Right now I’m wiping the saliva off my chin from chuckling about your new musical intro to GLS. Usually I prefer silent web sites; but yours — ahh!

    Violins. Wow.

Polly’s last blog post..Quelle pain in the nuque

  4. Yeah, I’ve noticed that, too. I found some cool blogs in December and January, then they stopped posting. Last I heard, durn near everybody was getting really sick. Maybe they died. Maybe it’s going to be like in one of those sci-fi movies where almost everyone dies except for a few people and they have to find each other to start up civilization again. I’m sure someone could write a new take on that plot.

Queue that up for the next book, Grandad?

me again’s last blog post..mangled language

  5. @Polly: Salut! No prob. I’ve remained loyal to you. I’m with you on autoplay sites, but I didn’t have a choice, so I figured once I could get away with it.

  6. @me again: When I started, I thought if there would be a slow season it would be the summer, but generally people are pretty consistent. I do believe that sickness has played a part!
Isn’t “I Am Legend” that plot? I havent’ seen it yet, it’s in my Blockflix cue queue

  7. I’m glad you wrote this–I was thinking it was me. I sometimes think if I link to someone, or recommend them, they’ll quit blogging. I occasionally take a break, but then I have 11 blogs. I always come back.

  8. @Gretchen: I’m sorry, I was hoping you wouldn’t notice. There was no revenge. You are consistent with your one or two, and haven’t said you were quitting. So this post wasn’t aimed at you!

  9. @Edna: I’m sorry you’re home! I know you would rather be back at Zion. I hope that works out for you. I loved the story about being hauled away in your camper!
I guess getting access to the web via a cell phone is out of the question?
