Today is RSS Awareness Day
Once you subscribe to a particular RSS feed, you will automatically receive updates from the website that publishes the feed, whenever they release new content.
Look for a symbol like this or a stylized version. Or “subscribe to my feed.” That’s the sign that the blogger likes you and wants to make your life easier.
I recommend using the Google RSS Reader. It has a lot of nice features – the one I like the best is using the “j” key to advance to the next feed – and marks the previous feed as “read.”
If you like things neatly categorized, it allows folders for different feeds, you can keep and highlight to “read later” by clicking the star on the feed.
It makes reading blogs a whole lot more fun.
RSS Everything You Need To Know
Watch the video below if you think you might like to give it a go. You won’t be sorry.

That little video was kinda funny. 🙂 I use bloglines, I have a google, I just don’t like it as much. 🙂
Lisa’s Chaos’s last blog post..Skunk cabbage and Owl
@Lisa’s Chaos: I started out on Bloglines and changed to Google because of the “mark as read” scrolling feature. I visited a couple blogs you mentioned and dropped your name.
