Hey Baby Boomer! Take Off Will Ya? — 13 Comments

  1. @Marissa: You should escape there – you’re young and carefree! We did spend money on fun things early on, that’s why it was iffy. No if’s left!

  2. This was great Sixty! I’m glad you and your wife are enjoying life now and agree with Marissa and would add, you just never know what will happen from one day to the next so enjoy! 🙂

    Hugs ~ Sandy

  3. Sixty….I have A PLAN, too. I’m just not gonna file my taxes. I figure with all the activity going on in the government now, they won’t discover that I didn’t file my taxes for a few years. Then, they’ll go after me. But, I figure it will take a few more years before they get serious about it. Of course, I’ll get a lawyer (from Legal Aid) and he/she will file apeal after apeal. When it finally comes down to the wire, I’ll probably be dead. So, I’m one up on you. I’m not just spending what could have been my kid’s inheritence, I’m spending MY money that the gov. claims is IT’s money.
Neither really needs my money. The gov has PLENTY to bail out crooked companies with and my kids are able to work just like I did.
Getting older does have it’s perks for sure.
Enjoy your big TV. I bought one about a year ago. And, just bought a new car. I’m just wondering what to blow money on next. You do have some good suggestions. Vacation? Sounds great.

  4. @Trailerparkbarbie: Awesome. I don’t agree with not paying taxes because the government trough needs filling too.

I’m glad you are on the spend-wagon. It’s what we need to do to get things rolling. More to come later in a post.
