Happy Spam Day
I sign up/register for a lot of websites and forums.
Usually I register, check out the site, or grab some tidbit and never return. I never subscribe to emails or updates from 99% of the sites I visit.
11/24/ was my birthday… aka Spam Day… as all those websites so cleverly recognize that I certainly would LOVE to get some lame spammy message from them… NOT.
Forums are the worst because they usually require a birthdate.
So I have had birthday wishes from…
Happy Birthday from everyone at our office! We love having you as one of our patients and hope you have a great day!
Kayak Magazine – the email was from jwood01@hotmail.com… HOTMAIL? Really Kayak? Hotmail?
…and at least a dozen other websites spammed my inbox with birthday wishes.
I took the time to unsubscribe from those sites.
A belated happy birthday to you, sir. 60 once again, right?
Happy Birthday!
Happy Spam day to everybody… Ever since I was a kid, I have grow up loving to eat spam… Right now, my kids also love to eat spam. I love the taste!
