I Choose Paris
NaBloPoMo is something Blogher.com concocted to keep bloggers blogging. This is my first attempt to write something every day for the month.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
I choose Paris. I haven’t been everywhere, (no there’s a no-shit statement) but I really loved Paris. We went there one time and had such a wonderful experience we went back the following year to do it all again.
Then the Euro/Dollar rate became less favorable and thus Paris became too expensive, so we never returned.
I started reading Polly Vous Francais after our visit to relive and recall our short time in Paris.
Of course, I would only live in Paris if I fluently spoke the language. But wishes and dreams have nothing to do with reality, so this wouldn’t be impossible.
My favorite memory is sitting on a butt-numbing wrought iron chair in the Tulleries Garden next to a great statue with my head tipped back; eyes closed to the brilliant April sun listening to the laughter and chatter of children as they pushed their little sailboats around the pond with short sticks.
Hey Bruno, them there words was some pretty good writin’ ya think? The punctuation sucks, but words are pretty.

What are your thoughts about tomorrow’s election in the United States?
I vote you & Nancy move to Paris 1/2 the year and do an apartment swap with your place in CR. Don’t worry about the language — I’ll be your interpreter.
Wouldn’t that be awesome??? Jeez, the possibilities! Three dogs kinda make that impossible at this point. But imagine…
