I used to belong to a gym. Most of the staff was more interested in flirting with each other or the hard-bodies that showed up. Seldom would they interact with us geezers, especially when it came to customer service. Aside from the introductory tour, I never had a staffer offer advice on use of the machines or free weights, let alone doing some simple marketing.
