Bulbous was right. Retired guys watch rain guages and then compare the totals.
Here’s my report… 5 inches of rain fell in May at Sedolsoder… we had a ten day stretch of no rain at all. On some other days we had just slight showers that were not measurable – noticable only because we heard it on the tin roof and saw the ripples on the pool.

Last May was 11 inches – about twice what May 2012 measured.
